Students cross Bascom Hill in the winter

The Graduate Student Tracking System (GSTS) supports efficient, accurate and consistent advising. GSTS:

  • Provides transparency to graduate students and the faculty and staff who advise them
  • Empowers graduate students to take control of their degree progress
  • Enables graduate programs to track their assessment of graduate student degree progress
  • Delivers degree progress feedback to graduate students

Why Is GSTS Important?

GSTS is well-aligned with the Graduate School’s priority to develop and deploy technologies, systems and processes that improve student services. It will reduce redundancy of information and minimize administrative burden for faculty and staff across campus. By leveraging the existing robust infrastructure and capabilities of the Student Information System, GSTS will build a solid foundation for graduate advising on campus.
